The Mini Mes love receiving post, as do I when it isn't bills, so when a beautiful personalised cake popped through the letterbox for them to scoff, they couldn't wait to tuck in!
The cake was packaged really well in both a secure tin and box to guarantee safe delivery and freshness. The cake served 4-5 and I was able to select both the flavour (double chocolate chip), the image and wording that would suit the Mini Mes on the icing. I chose to have a message from Santa on it to ensure the excitement of Christmas didn't result in them misbehaving, but there are several categories to choose from including Valentine's Day, birthdays, and good luck cakes with over 400 designs to select from too - something for every occasion.
The cake was packed with flavour, light and moist. It was delicious and a lovely gift idea if you know someone that loves a tasty treat or if you aren't sure what to buy. There are gluten and wheat free versions too for those that may suffer with allergies - everyone can enjoy Baker Days!
Baker Days deliver, free of charge, personalised and photo upload cakes and cupcakes straight to the recipients door. The letterbox cakes are perfectly sized to go straight through the letterbox so no knocking is required and missed delivery cards! There are also larger versions available to save the hassle of shopping for a party cake. If you order before 1pm you can get next day delivery too.
They are quite expensive at £14.99 but when compared to the price of flowers or balloon deliveries this is a great, affordable alternative with a special personalised touch.

For your chance to win a letterbox cake from the Valentine's range you can enter via the Rafflecopter entry form below.

my ex went through a phase after we had our daughter of coming home from work with bunches of roses, all my favourite colours as im not a fan of red roses. one day when putting a new bunch in a vase i noticed he had forgotten to take the price off. he worked in asda and had gotten them all reduced for 5p a bunch! well i suppose its the thought that counts hey
DeleteSurprised me with some flowers but when I went to put them in a vase I found a gorgeous bangle hid inside them

ReplyDeleteMy hubby often surprises me, our first valentine happened after we had been together for nearly a year, I don't "do" valentine and he said he didn't either. I bought him a small box filled with his favourite jelly belly - I couldn't resist a small token of love - he bought me a very expensive chopard happy heart necklace! Oops! This year will be our 9th valentine and I've decided it's time I did something romantic! Emma x (twitter id @beachpebble)
ReplyDeleteOh and I don't usually do valentines - not because I'm cold hearted but because I've never had a genuine surprise mystery valentine! Ha ha!
Took me to see my fav rockband in 2010 (on Valentines' Day) although he doesn't like them. Doesn't get any more romantic than that. We had a great meal before and the gig was amazing.
ReplyDeleteHubby is not that romantic I'm afraid. He shows his love in more practical ways like trimming my toenails when I was heavily pregnant and couldn't reach...now that's love.
ReplyDeleteI came home from Brownies (which I ran) to find the house in semi-darkness. The kids were all in bed (not a mean feat when all three were under five). Candles lit the living / dining room my favourite love songs were playing and a meal was about to be served. I was gobsmacked.
ReplyDeleteI opened the door of my car last valentines day to find a beautiful flowering plant on my drivers seat.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is very unromantic so I always miss out on valentines day.

ReplyDeleteHe married me! Best day of my life and he decided to marry me after we had only known each other for a total of 6 days ... we have been happily married for 5 years now. He often does romantic things like buy me perfume, roses or other flowers, scarves from Louis Vuitton, gives me cards with little messages on them etc. But he also tells me he loves me every day (sometimes many times throughout the day) and gives me lots of hugs & kisses & holds my hand when we are out. He is the most wonderful man ever and I am truly blessed. Pamela

We got outside and the back window of the car there was a sign that read, "Happy 1st Anniversary " We drove to a romantic place for a weekend away which I never expected. It was very sweet.

ReplyDeleteI've not really experienced much romance in my life but I did get asked to go to Paris and I'd never been before.
ReplyDeleteFor my 25th birthday my now husband surprised me by whisking me away to Paris for a romantic weekend. We were sight-seeing at the Eiffel Tower and suddenly he led me up to the posh Eiffel Tower Jules Verne Restaurant. It turned out he had booked up a table months in advance. Upstairs in the restaurant he wined and dined me, then produced the most gorgeous engagement ring and asked me to marry him. We toasted our engagement with Champagne looking at the views across Paris.
