Making your House a Home with Homebase

When it comes to decorating your house it's quite likely that you will visit your local home improvement store for paint samples, brushes and accessories, but did you know that Homebase now has a great selection of furniture available too? We discovered this recently while shopping for our new bathrooms and kitchen!

They provide dining tables with chairs, wardrobes, beds and even sofas, some of which you can order from the shop with samples on display too, but there is an even bigger selection for you to cast your eye upon online....

Family Furniture
With kids at home you want something that is robust and spacious enough for the whole family - even pets included! With extra large sofas that seat 4 you can all cuddle up together with
plenty of room to spare. In a variety of both light and dark colours. and leather look also available, any marks from food or pen (we all know little ones can be messy) will be wiped up with ease or left undiscovered by guests. Something that is certainly useful for us busy parents!

Personalised Seating
I really liked the look of the Schreiber range as it allows you to create something that suits you and your home down to a T in just three simple steps. You can select from 10 styles, choose your required size and shape then pick which of the 3 leathers and 34 fabrics you prefer for the perfect personalised finish. With a 5 year and 30 day money back guarantee you are sure to receive a  great quality product that will last. This large Darcy sofa in Hobart Duck Egg is simply stunning and would look lovely in my lounge with our matching floral wallpaper.

Compact Living
If you just don't have the room for a corner, 3 piece suite or even just a standard sized sofa, don't panic, there are smaller alternatives you can buy. Tub sofas or individual cuddle chairs may be the answer for you to maximise the space that you do have while providing somewhere cosy to rest at the end of a busy day.

A sofa bed might be a wise choice too as they are very handy for apartments or bungalows allowing family and friends to stay when they visit without taking over your room!

Affordable Comfort
Budgets vary and if you don't want to break the bank kitting out your home with comfortable seating you don't have to - Homebase have sofas for less than £145! They also have a 1/2 price sale on selected furniture until July 19th July, which includes sofas - making now the ideal time to order yours! We took advantage of this great offer too and purchased a few goodies for little home makeover too.

Which is your favourite?

  5. We aren't planning on buying any new furniture for a while because we have a lot of work to do on the house before we know what furniture we need, but I love the idea of a corner sofa, particularly if I get the corner seat ;)

  7. I love Homebase and probably it's because there's one fairly close to where we live ... we got some beautiful glass pendant lampshades for the kitchen a few months back ... great price and they make such a difference! :-)

  9. I hate to think how much money we've spent with Homebase over the years. We completely refurbished our last house and bought nearly everything from there and despite saying our next house would be one that we could just move in, we bought an old cottage and it's the same story. Will we ever learn? Thank goodness for Homebase x
