Equestrian Fun with Star Stable (PLUS Your Chance To Win)

Star Stable is a 3D virtual game which combines both equestrian role play and fantasy fun that the children (or kids at heart) can enjoy. It's ideal for those that love horses or animals in general and being a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) they can chat safely online with friends to build their social skills without even leaving the house.

Apart from many educational benefits which include teaching your children about caring for animals, they can select and name horses for their personal stable before training them, competing in races and solving mysteries along the way. There really is so much to do and Minxy in particular has really liked this game so far. It's also far cheaper than riding lessons or purchasing her a new pet which many mums and dads will appreciate!

There are plenty of features to keep the kids engaged and as your little ones progresses through the game which provides a sense of achievement in itself, more items are unlocked as rewards like rare breeds. The game is set on the picturesque island of Jorvik with great graphics and realistic movements and the intro provides thorough details on the background of the game which helps to spark imaginations in a positive way before they begin.

As the game is browser based it is quick and easy to download and play is fluent - no crashing and freezing like other games may do. Upon downloading you can customise your avatar and horses for a more personalised experience and the creators have cleverly provided a list of names you can choose from to prevent any inappropriate ones being used. Safety is paramount when it comes to children being online and this really helps to prevent personal information being shared. There is a dedicated section on the website which is useful for giving more information about the measures in place and the chats are well moderated too for your peace of mind as a parent.

There is a friendly competitive side to Star Stable as children can set up their own riding clubs or race for a place on the leader boards however they can just feed and groom the animals if they wish and concentrate on looking after their horses. It's completely up to you!

It is free up to level 4 which provides enough time to get used to game play and decide whether this is something you will enjoy long term, which no doubt your animal loving children will do. They have a variety of subscriptions available from just £4.95 per month or you can pay a one off fee of £49.90 to become a star rider and enable lifetime membership.
