Family Fun at Hatton Adventure World - npower 2 for 1 Days Out

We have been to Hatton Adventure Farm a few times over the years, not only because it's great value and local but due to the fact it's a really fun filled family day out. There is plenty to see and do with both indoor and outdoor activities available and it keeps both the young and young at heart entertained. Each time we return there seems to have been improvements made and we recently had the opportunity to visit again thanks to npower.

During the summer holiday npower are offering 2 for 1 tickets to over 900 attractions across the UK. It's a great way to reward their customers and to save parents money at what can be a stressful and expensive time of year! You just need to have a look on their website and enter your account number before taking a peek at which places appeal most to you and arranging your visit.
We settled on our favourite farm and set off in the car, although we were quite tempted by the motorcycle museum too due to the Mr's obsession with bikes too.

With the Mini Mes being aged 9 and 11, they were keen to try the over 8's adventurers challenge which encourages children to have a go at things they may not have done before, some of which may require a little courage. This includes laser combat, code cracking, assault courses and much more to keep you busy and to provide a sense of achievement along the way.

Before heading inside for lunch we stopped off at all of the animal areas where we fed and fussed goats and handled guinea pigs. We had fun on the free inflatables and fairground rides too - it's great that you don't have to pay additional charges for things like this after the entrance fee, like you do at so many other attractions. The variety is great and it's near impossible to be bored!

We also popped on the Timewarp tractor ride, had a go at Beat the Goalie, held a cockroach in the Scales and Tails area and watched the sheep racing in the Grand National.

There was plenty of variety when it came to food too with both hot and cold options available. The Mini Mes had the kids create your own lunch boxes where they selected 5 items plus a drink to enjoy for just over £5 each, the Mr had a jacket potato with chilli and salad and I settled for macaroni cheese and chips which was delicious (and a very large portion).

The restaurant is situated by the fantastic indoor play area (and the sensory area) so as soon as the Mini Mes had finished eating they were excited to go and play while we watched from a distance.
The drop slides are quite impressive and they thoroughly enjoy the adrenalin rush that they provide. They could easily spend an entire day just in this section!

A clip on the slides from a previous visit...

We had a fantastic day and I would highly recommend Hatton as a place to visit this summer, especially with the discount available from npower as you can enter for a fraction of the cost.

Have you taken advantage of the npower 2 for 1 offer yet?

  1. We've never been there but there's a great farm near us and the kids really do get so much out of being able to get close to the animals and feed them,

  4. Unfortunately we switched from npower to another company before they started doing the 2 for 1 offers. If they offer a cheap enough plan though we would go back to them, as could get plenty of use out of 2 for 1 definitely! - Jodie Cook
