Choosing The Best Car Seat For Your Child

It's important to ensure our little ones have a reliable car seat to keep them safe and secure for every journey, but as busy mums and dads we don't always have time to research them all. LV= have taken the hassle away by putting the latest products on the market to the test and creating a list of the best buys. You can pop to the shop and make your purchase with complete peace of mind!

Jamster is a little under 135cm in height and only 9 years old so he still requires a car seat by law. The article was therefore really useful for the Mr and I to read - it covers everything from birth to 12 years of age.

As I've always used and trusted Maxi-Cosi, with the Mini Mes both having the Priori XP models as babies, the Rodi AirProtect seat appealed to me the most. The side protection system is a great idea as it lowers the risk of head and neck injuries if a collision did occur and being height adjustable it would grow as Jamster does.

I also like the fact that this seat is available in a variety of fabrics to match the interiors of our cars and also Jamster's taste. The more attractive it is in appearance the happier Jamster will be to sit in it after all! The extra padding is also a bonus for a really comfortable ride and as it is going to last until he no longer requires a seat I won't need to worry about buying an alternative in a few months time. It's certainly a cost effective option.

  4. I'm aware things have changed recently, the seats I had for my other kids are probably not right for my baby so will be taking some advice from the retailers I think
