Magical Moments with Popchips

I do love a challenge, especially when lots of family fun is involved, so teaming up with Popchips was the ideal way to enjoy a delicious, and low calorie snack, while on the go. We had a fantastic week of mini adventures with the new BBQ and Sea Salt multi-packs of six to provide us with fuel for all of our activities.

Saturday
The weather was a little miserable but a bit of rain has never stopped play for us! We went to Tenpin Northampton for a few hours where the Mr and I teamed up with the Mini Mes for a several games of pool, we slipped into some funky red and white shoes for some competitive glow bowling, we enjoyed racing in the arcades and we used all of our coppers on the slot machines. When we clambered back into the car it was nice to have something tasty to nibble on while we traveled home.

Sunday
We all popped on our glad rags and had a wonderful day with friends at their son's christening. The Mr and I were honoured to be chosen as godparents and we spent the day indulging in buffet food, having lots of snuggles with the very handsome baby Rory in his bow tie and waistcoat, before a meal out in the evening. There were quite a few children present and I ended up making endless paper aeroplanes for them all to throw around in the car park - hearing all of the giggles certainly put a smile on my face. They all seemed to like my Popchips too!

Monday
I made a surprise trip to Argos today to pick up some NERF guns for the ultimate indoor battle! I even put on my khaki paintballing overalls and hair into pigtails to really get into the role. I left a note out in the hallway along with the new weapons before hiding under Jamster's cabin bed to attack. It was so exciting and a great success. I think the kids realised that I'm an even bigger kid than they imagined! We all sat down afterwards to have a snack.

Tuesday
We do love a good movie so we met up with my sister and brother in law to see Spectre at our local cinema. We stocked up on hot dogs, pick n mix, slush drinks and of course Popchips, before taking our seats on the back row for another action packed Bond film. When we got returned home we snuggled up in our duvets and watched Get Santa.

Wednesday
Nothing beats some retail therapy so a trip to Milton Keynes was in order. It was lovely to try the new Black Forest Hot Chocolate at Costa (my favourite festive flavour), take a stroll around the shops to get some ideas on what we would all like Santa to bring us and to pick up a few purchases. I lost a stone in October (woohoo) so I treated myself to some new clothes and some pretty new nails while the Mr got some footwear and the Mini Mes some goodies in Lush.

Thursday
Being bonfire night we took the poochie for a much earlier and longer walk than usual through the beautiful woodlands nearby. We love the great outdoors so it was nice to burn off some energy, play tag, kick the colourful leaves and try out our new hats, gloves and scarves ready for the winter. It seems to be getting darker from around 3pm now but that means we can take the torches and make shadow puppets too!

Popchips are around 70 calories per bag making them a lighter alternative to crisps - they are great in flavour too. I'm glad that our local Waitrose stocks the new multi-packs as they will definitely be going into my basket next time!

Have you tried Popchips yet?

  6. Our local supermarket doesn't sell popchips even though they gave me a money off voucher for them! I'd love to try them as they are lighter than normal crisps. You sound like you had a very fun week.
