Save Money on Baby Essentials with NurserySavings.com (PLUS WIN a Pram!)

Preparing for the arrival of your bundle of joy can be a costly experience. There is not only the day to day expense of a child's upbringing like nappies, food and clothing to take into consideration but also the initial outlay. Cot beds, car seats and prams don't generally come cheap but NurserySavings.com should thankfully make shopping a little easier on the bank balance for you.

This small family run business launched on eBay in 2011 and has blossomed ever since, due to the low cost but high quality items they provide. Their annual turnover has increased dramatically during the past few years and they have now opened their website due to it's ongoing success, to provide more shopping options for their thousands of customers.

Nursery Savings generally deal with returned nursery stock from high street retailers, like Mothercare, which they then sort, refurbish and grade before selling to you and I at very affordable prices. These are often items that were simply sent back with no or very little use by the original recipient so you can pick yourself up the latest goods for a fraction of the cost and with free delivery too.

Items include highchairs, bouncers, storage solutions and so much more. You can pick up all of the larger essentials all in one place while in the comfort of your own home. This is certainly beneficial for the heavily pregnant as wandering around shopping centres may not be a priority!

"If there is a specific style or design you really have your heart set on but can't afford at full price, you may be able to find it with Nursery Savings."
- Emma

The grading system is split into three categories. A Grade, B Grade and C Grade:

A Grade
A grade items are in excellent condition and are as close to brand new as you can get. These will be the items that have been returned due to undelivered goods, damaged packaging or unwanted items that may have been used very briefly and then returned.

B Grade
B grade items are considered as items that will show signs of mild use but overall look great, for example a pushchair may have slightly worn wheels or a subtle scratch on the chassis somewhere.

C Grade
C grade items will show signs of everyday wear and tear. All of the items are checked to be fully functional, cleaned and tested to be safe for your little one by our specialist engineers.

The price you pay varies by the grade you select which means there is something to suit every budget. You could pick up a grade C pram for around a quarter of the original price - bargain!

Items come complete with any accessories that would've been included originally and boxed for your convenience. Nursery Savings also provide their own 90 day warranty for your peace of mind and sell some brand new, end of line stock if you prefer not to buy second hand for your baby. There are lots of options available so it's definitely worth a browse.

If you have any queries or want to find out more there is a helpful customer service team to assist you and to make your transactions go as smoothly as possible.

  1. A moses basket is a must - it is portable and smaller than a cot/cotbed and therefore your baby will feel more secure.

  2. we have the next to me crib which folds open next to your bed, i can lie down and still see my daughter. great for night feeds and will last longer than some cribs and moses baskets.
Also you can never have enough muslin squares!

  10. One thing I would recommend to first time mummy's is the Tommee Tippee closer to nature perfect prep machine, they are fantastic! Makes the perfect bottle in minutes, it's a lifesaver! Worth every penny, it makes feeding time so much more enjoyable and stress free. So much quicker and easier then making the bottle! Absolute blessing to those 3am feeds, thanks so much for the chance me and my husband was looking at these in mothercare earlier this week and fell in love, this would be perfect for our little boy due in March, have a lovely day :)
