Nutella Cookie Cups {Creative Summer 11}

Thick smooth chocolate and warm chewy cookies - is there a more satisfying combo for your sweet tooth? What's even better is these delicious puds are incredibly easy to make and they can go from mixture to mouth in around 20 minutes flat.


Ingredients

120g butter
100g light brown soft sugar
120g caster sugar
1 egg
220g self raising flour
Nutella


Method
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  • Mix together the butter, sugars, flour and egg in a bowl to form your dough
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces, roll into balls and place one in each hole of a muffin tray


  • Press each ball down into the tray to hollow out the centre and to work the mixture up the sides so it looks like a cup
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden in colour - if the centres raise when cooking push them back down with a spoon


  • Place a heaped scoop of Nutella in each cookie cup and give it a swirl to make it glossy
  • Remove the filled cookie cups from the tray and leave to cool or scoff while warm



Tips
- Add chocolate chips to the cookie mixture
- Drizzle white chocolate over the top of the Nutella in stripes for a pretty finish

  5. ooohhh these look nice and easy, will need to try them. I will need to try them with chocolate peanut butter as I cant eat Nutella.
