ReplyDeleteMy dad wasn't around as I grew up but my husband is a great dad teaching me and my children how to be a fantastic dad, my favourite moment has to be when he painted the nails of my 2 year old daughter peppa pig pink as she wanted, he shows my boy and girl you can be strong, masculine, sensitive and supportive x x

That weekend, we had the first weekend, just hum and me, that we'd had ever and he had bought me the book and we rented other prison escape films and just spent the weekend watching them together.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite memory of my grandad was going to work with him, he was a lorry driver and we used to eat cold sausage and tomato sauce sandwiches, he would teach me road signs and play journey games with me and let me help him with his deliveries, we were well known on his deliverys and on the C.B. My grandad was my B.F.G (big friendly giant) and I miss him dearly, he passed when I was nineteen so nearly twenty years ago and I have a heap of wonderful memories.

My favourite memory of my dad is his enthusiastic hunt for a tiny fish in some deep rockpools...we stalked this fish for hours & it ended in my dad lunging for it with a net & falling into the thigh-deep water! :-)
