I'd seen the adverts for this appliance and I wondered if it would save me time and prevent cut/grated/chopped fingers - I'm rather clumsy I'll admit, plus I love having the latest gadgets and gizmos!
I contacted Tefal and I had a Fresh Express sent to me to test within a few days. It was easy to assemble with only a few pieces clicking together ready for action and the varied attachments for grating, slicing and shredding your fruit and veg are funky, bright colours.
I was impressed. It's reasonably compact and has a retractable cord so it's easy to store plus the machine seemed to do it's job well. It saved teary eyes from onion and reduced meal preparation time considerably - it was great to pop the food in, switch it on and watch the pieces drop out into a pot ready to use with ease. All the pieces were identical in shape and size which I rarely achieve!
Washing all the bits after was a bit more time consuming than cleaning a chopping board and a single knife. Was it worth it? I would say yes and I imagine that a lot of people would find this a handy tool to have at home.

I requested a Tefal Fresh Express to hire and was not sent one free of charge for reviewing purposes. I choose to review the product myself and the opinions are honest and my own.
This looks great, I'd love to have one. Would be great for making yummy salads.
ReplyDeleteIndeed :). Handy for hot and cold snacks and meals x
DeleteVery handy, this would save me a massive amount of time and effort.
ReplyDeleteUseful little kitchen gadget
ReplyDeleteThe main problem with all kitchen gadgets is the amount of washing and cleaning to be done after use, when a kitchen knife would have sufficed.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a handy little gadget.
ReplyDeleteWashing all kitchen gadgets is time consuming, so I tend to end up using the knife even though I have a wonderful food processor.
ReplyDeleteThese are good we have one of these
