Rayman Legends *Review and Giveaway*

Platform games are always a huge hit in this house and Rayman Legends from Ubisoft is no exception.
With the chance to defeat awesome bosses, complete musical levels and have 4 players working together it's bound to be loved by families.

With a more traditional side-scrolling game play style, which had me feeling nostalgic, you can control a variety of characters including Rayman, Globox and Teensies with Barbara being unlocked as you progress.

You will find yourself swimming, swinging, gliding and running with highly detailed graphics as you to collect Lums, save the captured Teensies and restore order - The Glade of Dreams has been taken over after the nightmares have spread during the heroes sleep!

The fantasy worlds include jungles and deserts and monsters from legends like giant animals, sea creatures and dragons. It's great that you can pick and choose which you wish to play and as there are 120 levels plus bonus content, it will certainly keep you and your little ones thoroughly entertained with even the grown ups going back for more.

We found this a lot more challenging than other games aimed at the same age range but this certainly is beneficial as we haven't yet completed it - the fun goes on! Rayman Legends is suitable for children aged 7+ due to the mild violence and fear factor but the controls are simple and there is plenty or jump and punch action that we all enjoyed.

See the trailer here:

We all loved this game and I would definitely purchase future Rayman releases!

  22. Just one favourite game? But I have so many!

Dizzy (very old!), The Sims, Crash Bandicoot, any of the Lego games. We all love playing the kinect games, Let's Dance games and Guitar Hero - mum's still the winner on that!

The kids are really into their Skylanders and Minecraft. Which is fine by me, Minecraft is fab for creative skills!
