Having healthy children is a priority as a parent and although I try to provide a balanced diet there are still times when I worry that they aren't getting their important 5 a day for one reason or another.
We were sent some Bassetts Soft and Chewy Vitamins to help ensure the Mini Mes are fighting fit... as they can be fussy eaters at times!
The bright packaging featuring cute characters naturally appeals to children and makes the idea of taking vitamins a little less scary than it may be at first. The fact that they are soft and chewy is also a bonus as it means they are easy to consume - one less worry for mum.
We received both orange and strawberry flavours to try and both of the children liked the taste. Taking one each morning fast became part of our routine with breakfast.
Each pastille is foil wrapped and there are 45 in a pack. They aren't particularly expensive (at £3.60 in Tesco and currently 3 for 2) and as they are available in a variety of supermarkets you can just pop a box in with your usual grocery shopping every few weeks. Hassle-free.
They are suitable for children aged 3+ and provide the majority, if not all of, the recommended daily intake of certain vitamins to help with growth and development.
It was really handy to have a breakdown of how each vitamin within the pastilles help your child's body; it was educational for both them and I and allowed me to discuss with them the importance of eating well and staying active.
Bassett's Soft and Chewy Vitamins have a new on-pack promotion where you can receive a free soft play session at 1 of nearly 200 great centres across the UK when you purchase a box.
There are unique codes which when used online allows you to arrange your session.
A great way to get your children active!

ReplyDeleteGood way to get vitamins into kids.
ReplyDeleteI used to take vitamins as a kid but they were hard little things which we used to store between our bottom teeth and our lip so that it showed a little lump through the kin. We were really odd as children. I think it's a good idea to supplement younger children's vitamin intake - I'm trying to encourage more parents to increase the vitamin D intake in toddlers so it's interesting to read about these new vitamins. Thanks for sharing!
