Most of half term was spent at home due to my back injury but this meant we enjoyed lots of baking, crafts, indoor den building and duvet days with movies -
I really don't mind that at all and we had lots of fun.
I got some magazines for the Mini Mes, mostly because they liked the look of the slime sling-shot and stationery goodies that were attached, to work through while I rested my spine. Minxy began to write the cute little Tatty Teddy notelets for her friends and pen-pals and then I discovered one that she had written for Jamster too. My heart melted just a tiny bit!
They got on really well all week and it was lovely to see them playing together.
Once the card was proudly displayed in his room I decided to read the message inside...
It's the thought that counts I guess!?
I think it's actually Minxy's sweet way of saying her brother is actually kinda cool and she has enjoyed his company.
It was really thoughtful especially as she is at the age where 'boys stink' in her eyes!
Do your children get on well together?

LOL!!! Well that's....sweet :D
ReplyDeleteAwww, bless, I love it when siblings are showing their love for each other :-)
ReplyDeleteHope your back is better now. I have a saying, if they don't physically fight with each other, then let them be :-). No worries about silly cards, just a way of expressing herself :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha that is so funny! My daughter wrote hundreds of these kinds of sibling love type cards, one said For a smelly boy you are a bit OK!! Have to laugh at them!
ReplyDeleteAww I think that's sweet. My 8 year old still counts all of us on his friend list! My kids don't tend to get on well together :S 4 strong characters!
ReplyDeleteoh that's lovely. My two get on well but there is a big age gap between them so I think that really helps
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! I often worry about Baby being an only child as there won't be any of this. Lovely for your children x

Ah how lovely! It's nice when they get along so well isn't it.
ReplyDeleteI'd say that's a high compliment!
ReplyDeleteI think that your half term sounds perfect. You can make very special memories out of a lovely time at home, you don't need to be rushing around all the time. I only have one little one and we get on okay... most of the time!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! It's really great when siblings get along. Mine either can't live without each other, or are at each others throats - but that's teens and tweens for you x
ReplyDeleteSounds like your kids get on really well. We get little notes like that at our house too. They always make me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say that my children get on well together but it seems at the moment that they're constantly bickering. I long for the times when they do actually play nicely together! Hope your back is better soon. I've suffered with a bad back for about 15 years so you have my sympathy xx
ReplyDeleteAdorable :) I love seeing how my two interact with each other. Well, not all the time as they have reached the bickering stage, but when they aren't bickering it's lovely seeing how much they love each other.
ReplyDeleteSounds like our half term too - and we had a good one!
ReplyDeleteAh, hope your back gets better soon. It's nice you could spend half-term together, having fun at home, though.
ReplyDeletehahaha! Mine are suckers for the freebies on magazines, and I am a sucker for the ten minutes peace they buy me!
ReplyDeleteHuzzah for duvet days! I hope your feeling better now or at least the pain has eased.Siblings are funny aren't they? You love them but sometimes don't like them much.
ReplyDeleteAw that is so cute!
ReplyDeleteso cute! lovely to have siblings as friends :) x

Awww thats adorable!!
ReplyDeleteAww lovely! Mine do get on very well but sometimes the eldest one does torment the youngest by taking his toys etc!
ReplyDeleteAww cute, my son is an only child but he has lots of friends at nursery and even has a girlfriend. He loved making her a Valentines card, and was so excited when he bumped into her in the Wacky Warehouse during half term. - I'm sure they had planned a secret rendezvous!
ReplyDeleteawwwh so so cute
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely :) Bless her x
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, the bond between siblings is such a special thing. Hope you;re back is more rested x
