We all know that searching for our symptoms on Google is never a good idea but after flying home from an amazing week in Kefalonia I knew that the pain and swelling in my legs could be a sign of DVT so I decided to visit my GP. Just to be on the safe side.
The only appointment available was 3.35pm so after a very quick dash to get the Mini Mes home from school we all headed to the doctor's surgery. The nurse was running on time, possibly for the first time ever, so the kids and I got called in almost straight away upon checking in.
While the nurse checked my blood pressure, prodded my ankles and measured my calves I handed
my keys and mobile over to Jamster to hold for me. I could hear lots of giggling almost immediately but while trying to concentrate on what I was being told by the nurse I didn't take much notice. Once we were back in the car I got my iPhone back from Jamster to text the Mr, just to let him know that everything was fine, and it became clear what they had been laughing about...
