Minecraft Mad - Animal Mobs and Steve with Diamond Armour

Minecraft certainly isn't something that appeals to me but the Mini Mes are obsessed with it. It's rare to have a day pass without Cave Spiders, Creepers and Endermen mentioned or without a request for time on the Xbox. They can be creative through game play and I've never seen them team up together so eagerly as brother and sister, with no bickering whatsoever, which is definitely a positive thing. They were delighted when some figures arrived in the post for them recently as they can now play the game off screen too - I don't need to worry about those square eyes quite so much either!

Articulates Animal Mobs 6 Pack

This set includes 6 animals featured in Minecraft; a cow, sheep, pig, wolf, ocelot and a chicken. Each figure has a pixelated look so they appear near identical to how they are on the game and each has
different movable parts. Minxy was particularly keen to play with the chicken with its flapping wings and Jamster adores the sheep with spring loaded hooves which enable it to really bounce!

They are well built and have so far been rather robust surviving slides at the park, rides on a remote control car and even a brief swimming lesson in the sink. They have been a big hit.

Steve with Diamond Armour

Steve is the main character from the game, the one that players control, and in this set he comes complete with a diamond ore block, a removable helmet and a diamond sword which fits in his hands to hold with ease. His square based feet allow him to stand on surfaces during play and you can adjust his legs into a sitting position also. His arms can be removed easily if you wish (the Mini Mes pretend he is injured from fighting sometimes) and they click back in just as quickly.

He has already been involved with creating worlds from Lego and sand so he has really helped to inspire their imaginations.

Both sets are suitable for children aged 6+ and as they are chunky they are easy to handle. There are no tiny bits to worry about getting lost and you don't have to worry about them breaking as they really are very sturdy.

The Mini Mes give these a big thumbs up as they are great fun and really help to bring the game to life.
