My mum has been a great help and support throughout my life but this last year has been a real god-send - I had a shock heart attack at 44 completely out of the blue and whilst I was in hospital she looked after my young son and husband, meaning I had one less thing to worry about. Since coming home life has been a bit of a struggle but I know without a doubt whatever I need she'll always be there, my only hope is that I'm as strong and supportive at 80 as she is (even half her energy would be good)

ReplyDeleteEveryone's Mum is special. Everybody believes their mum is the best mum in the world. This is true. My mum is the best in the world to me. From bringing me into the world, taking me to school when I was a child and taking care of my bumps and bruises; tending my war wounds, scrapes and cuts - kissing it all better and telling me things are going to be alright...all the way to now as an adult where she supports me with her advice, her encouragement but most of all her love. And this is what makes her special to me. She has a place in my heart and always will do. xxx
