ReplyDeleteI usually ask my mum what she fancies as she often has a present she has had her eye on. If not I get her something like flowers and a surprise as well. We usually have tea together as a family as well.

It doesn't often happen as they all live in different places but I can't complain as they did get together for my 60th earlier this year. I see the grandchildren often as I do have some of them after school. Unfortunately my mum is no longer with us but I always lay flowers for her.
