Although Jamster and Minxy generally get on really well, like any siblings, they have their moments. They play tricks on each other and they try to wind each other up to breaking point at times.
I remember similar moments from my own childhood with my brother and sister too - my poor mother!
They currently have a favourite seat in the lounge where they both like to sit at every opportunity and if one moves out of it, even for a second, the other will jump straight into it. The arguments they have had over it, along with who gets to have the remote, are ridiculous. I've no idea why they both need to sit in it as there is plenty of room for everyone on our corner suite. Although this specific chair is nearer to the TV and plug sockets for charging tablets which may have something to do with it.
Minxy managed to steal the seat away from Jamster the other evening very sneakily while he popped into the kitchen for a drink, and when he returned to see her sat there he wasn't pleased. I heard him mutter a few words briefly before he picked up his mobile phone, wandered over to her and played a video to her. I don't think it had the desired effect however, which was obviously to annoy/shock/anger her, as she ended up laughing hysterically and it made him huff and puff even more so!
I asked Jamster to show me the video and this is what it was....
...he had even personalised it especially for her, how kind!

ReplyDeleteIt has dawned on me in a few years this will be me. Help! #chucklemums
That is seriously gross but I like Minxy's attitude!
ReplyDeleteMy son would enjoy this video a bit too much I think so I'm not showing it to him!
ReplyDeletehaha this is great bit gross tho lol
ReplyDeleteThis so funny! Where do they find these things from??
ReplyDeleteWOW! Very strange!
ReplyDeleteHahah! I feel sad RJ won't experience this, but he is adamant he would hate a sibling! Thanks for linking with #chucklemums
ReplyDeleteOh the biggest insult! :) This reminds me so much of ours. Corner sofa, favourite spot. Only dilemma they have is I sit at the opposite end, and they both want me for cuddles...
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! Children are endlessly fascinated with bodily functions. And that little show is, er, absolutely gross. Very funny to little ones, though!
ReplyDeletevery funny.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Kids are always finding something to make a big deal of.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I have a cat that is similiar.. if my hubby sits next to me on the sofa, he will get up and sit between us.... plus he doesnt like the other cat near me.. so funny!
Haa haa haa - kids eh? My kids fight over the "spinny chair" (it spins) - it drives me mad!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, where do they find these things?! It would have made mine laugh too though :D
ReplyDeleteThis is so much like my boys and the things they do - this would have had me adn them in stitiches!
ReplyDeleteha ha so funny!! Mine argue over the craziest things too - it drives me mad!
ReplyDeleteI think I may have all this coming....my kids argue over who has control of the TV to the point where I'm cowering in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteMy two are going through a phase of liking each other at the moment but would find this hilarious x
ReplyDeleteLol. My two tormented each other relentlessly for years. It's a great relief that they are really good friends now they have grown up.
ReplyDeleteThis made me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteMy boys are at this stage - I'm trying to embrace the grossness of it all, I worry I might start becoming like them with my husband now.... I do feel bad for what I put my own mom through though, it's a bit like karma!
ReplyDeleteHa ha!!! My kids would laugh a lot!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! my kids fight over everything
