Hatton Adventure World in Warwick is just a matter of minutes from our home so we make regular visits, especially during the summer months when it is generally a little warmer - we should probably get an annual pass thinking about it! It's a great value attraction when compared to many others at around £14.95 per person, less in off peak seasons or if booked in advance, so you can enjoy a full family day of fun for a pretty bargain price.
We particularly like the fact that there is plenty to see and do both outside and indoors so even if the weather isn't on your side you can still have a superb day.
We packed a picnic as usual, although the cafe does have a good variety of both hot and cold meals on offer, and travelled by car for the 10am opening. After a stroll through the shopping village taking a peek at the homemade fudge and ales, we grabbed our wristbands and headed straight to the goats and guinea pigs for some feeding and handling sessions.

It's a very interactive farm and if the Mini Mes aren't cooing over newborn lambs or tiny piglets they are whooshing down slides, holding birds of prey, completing the obstacle course, playing bowls, competing at laser combat or putting the new Water Wars and Water Battles to the test! There really is so much variety and plenty to keep all ages entertained.
Considering it was quite a sunny day and the school holiday it was lovely and peaceful to begin with. We had most of the equipment to ourselves so once we had looked at the reptiles, had a whizz around on the JCB diggers, said hello to the donkeys and had a search for gold we made the most of the empty inflatables.
These along with the other activities mentioned above, plus the trampolines and the mini funfair rides, are all included within the entry costs. You only need to pay for the pony rides (£2.50) which is optional and any electronic equipment you decide to play at. It's such good value for money.
Everyone loved the piglets! |
Possibly the last lamb of the season |

The Mini Mes are always eager to play at the Superslide Mania zone and today was no different. After having a go on everything outside, and enjoying our lunch on one of the many benches, we took a table indoors to spectate as they played.
There are two large drop slides, a rainbow slide to use with mats and an additional slide which goes into a ball pond. There are rope bridges, climbing apparatus and a sensory area for toddlers too which grown ups are obviously welcome to enter to support little ones.
I had to coax the Mini Mes with ice cream to get them off as they were having such an amazing time. I always feel very proud of the way they dive straight in and give everything a go, even overcoming their fears - those slides are rather high.

We had another wonderful day at Hatton Adventure World and I would certainly recommend a visit.
The Water Wars and Water Battle area (think water guns and balloon canons) is really fun to take part in and I'd suggest booking your visit before 4th September so you don't miss out on all the seasonal action!
