Chocolate and Marshmallow Mini Egg Fudge - Easter Bakes

If Easter isn't a good enough excuse to indulge with tasty chocolate treats and enjoy some time in the kitchen, I really don't know when is! These delicious chunks are so easy to make and could be a nice gift solution as an alternative to a more traditional egg (that's if you want to share).

Ingredients

75g Butter
300g Soft light brown sugar
130g Condensed milk
230g Marshmallows
300g Milk chocolate
80g Dark chocolate
Mini Eggs

Method

  • Line a tray/tin, approximately 12" by 8" in size, with greaseproof paper
  • Place the butter, sugar and milk into a saucepan and heat gently until everything has melted
  • Turn up the heat, add the marshmallows and boil for 5 minutes. Ensure you stir the mixture continuously to prevent it from burning or sticking

  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chocolate. Stir through until the chocolate has melted, is fully combined and the mixture is a dark brown colour
  • Pour the mixture into your lined tray, carefully push in your Mini Eggs and place into your fridge to set
  • The fudge usually takes 2-3 hours to set. You can then turn it out, remove the greaseproof paper and slice into 1" cubes, smaller if you prefer

Enjoy!
