Christmas is a great excuse to indulge in rich, delicious food and a tipple or too - goodies in stockings are no exception either!

But this year, instead of the usual chocolate, you can pop in some cute yet quality treats from Betty's.

Betty's is a family business which has been handcrafting artisan chocolates, cakes biscuits and more at their Yorkshire craft bakery for over 90 years. We received some Miniature Chocolate Bears and Snowy Owls to review and the Mini Mes were thrilled, I think most children would be too!

The Miniature Chocolate Bears are made from a combination of quality white and milk Swiss chocolate with dark chocolate detailing. They are solid, creamy in both taste and texture and they would make a lovely present for a child or friend as a classy stocking filler. They come in a packet of four which is just perfect to share (or scoff all by yourself!). The Snowy Owls also come in a pack of four and are solid too. They are made from white Swiss chocolate and make another great novelty gift solution.

Delivery was fast and the items were wrapped really well to prevent damage in transit. Betty's add the special touches that create a shopping experience that makes you feel important to them as a customer. I was really pleased with both the service and products themselves.

Penwizard - Peppa Pig swims with your child!

Penwizard provide your child with the opportunity to star alongside their favourite character, Peppa Pig, in a personalised book; "Peppa and (any name) go swimming"!

You are able to personalise the character's first and last name, gender, hair colour and style, skin tone and eye colour to match your child - you can even leave a personal message printed on the first page too!

Your child will love to see themselves splashing and playing with Peppa and George in the pool! Seeing their name in print is exciting for little ones and I feel it will really help to encourage reading. The beautiful illustrations are bright and makes it a book that they will wish to read time and time again.

Ordering and personalising the book online was really simple to do. You can select the character details by clicking the option you require and entering the name and message. We received notifications via email to confirm the order had been placed and was on its way and it arrived swiftly 2 days later.

The book is about George being afraid to go swimming but when he sees the fun your child and Peppa are having he decides to join in too!

The book has a lovely glossy finish and is superb quality. I feel that it is the perfect gift for all little Peppa Pig fans and for those that have recently started swimming, reading or have a fear of water. It really makes water appear fun!

We ordered ours for a friend's child for Christmas who has recently started to love Peppa and George. It's priced at £14.99 which isn't bad considering it will become a treasured present that can be stored away safely in a memory box once they get too big or passed onto siblings.

My Clippy Review and Giveaway

Clippy helps you to create wonderful, personalised products so you can be reminded of home wherever you are! You can style your own bags with your favourite pics or fabric to make something that it special and unique to you.

We were lucky enough to receive a bag to review (and we have another to give away below woohoo).

Minxy was chuffed to have something that she could design herself as she loves being creative. It also meant she could include her love of animals, family and hello kitty in the process without missing her favourite things out.




The bag we received was 'Pink Handles' which has 6 pockets on each side to personalise and  measures around 30cm x 27cm x 10cm -  perfect for a night away or even her school books!

To be honest I wanted to use it as my day-to-day handbag as it's suitable for adults too but she was too keen to keep it *sulks*! It's original and I love the idea that you can take the family and pets with you on your travels even if they can't come themselves.

I first noticed how good quality the bag was with strong handles that were a lovely shade of pink, ideal for my tween princess (or myself). The bag came with the pockets filled already with card images. These are removable with ease but great if you don't have any of your own pics to hand at the time or to use as templates to cut around when sorting your own images to go in them.


Some 3d stickers were included to allow us personalise our bag further. We received the Hi Kitty collection and Cupcakes and Tiara Party Set which again were great quality, really pretty and easy to apply. There are many sets you can purchase on the website to customise the bag to suit your taste and linings if you would prefer to keep the contents of your bag hidden.


I feel the Clippy bags would make a great present for someone going travelling or heading off to uni, you could fill the pockets for them as a reminder of everyone they will be leaving behind - a lovely sentimental and personalised gift. They would also be great as beach bags and for day trips as they are lightweight and easy to wipe clean.
