We went to a free science event at our local leisure centre today and one of the activities involved bubbles! The idea was to make a square bubble in the centre of a shape and both of the mini mes managed to achieve it. We spent a few hours making rockets, talking about energy and hydraulics and having fun in an educational way.
This is great. Free science events with hands-on learning sounds like a great way to get the kids interested in science and making things.
