Mini Mess - Dolly peg butterflies

Crafts that you can play with after making are a favourite as they keeps the Mini Mes entertained for even longer. Following on from last weeks egg box bugs (which you can see here) we stuck with a bug theme and decided on dolly peg butterflies this week!

What you will need

Dolly pegs
Foam
Scissors
Pen
Googly eyes
Decorating items e.g sequins, glue, glitter

  12. The hardest thing about this was finding dolly pegs, none of the local shops stocked them, it meant a trip on the bus (which the kids enjoyed). Finally got round to decorating them great fun :)

  21. I think Lydia would love to make these, might try to use plastic for the wings from a milk bottle and indelible ink, with plastic stickers then we can have them out in the garden, I'm sure Grandad will love some for his veg garden!
