During my pregnancies it was great having a car - yes a car - so my partner could go out to our local 24 hour Tescos whenever I NEEDED my cravings!!!! (cherry tomatoes when I was expecting the boys and anything lemony for when I was expecting the girls!) Our electronic baby swing was fab for our new borns as it would rock them all to sleep!

ReplyDeleteBio Oil, I love it, When I had my son it was not around and I got some stretch marks, WHen I had my daughter I used it and it was just brilliant, I didn't get a single mark with her and she was a bigger baby, I used it after my pregnancy and all my marks faded. I love it

The v shaped cushion. I would have been lost without it. Many, many hours were spent with little baby cuddling on it. I used it for feeding, propping her up on the floor. Before she was even born, I used it for my own comfort when heavily pregnant! :-) x

ReplyDeleteMy first two pregnancies both of my babies got stuck and I had to have Forceps and Ventose. So with my third I was not going to have that, I got one of the large balls and and used all the tips like being on my all fours through the pregnancy and during labour I sat on it and the third came out without getting stuck.

ReplyDeleteArnica gel or arnica tablets, had a homebirth with my 1st, no pain relief, but boy did it hurt afterwards! The arnicha helped with the bruising though.

ReplyDeleteI bought energy tablets to help me through labour with my first but didn't have a chance to use them as it all went very quickly in the end but i found they came in very handy as a new parent as my little girl was up every 2 hours in the night and constantly breastfeeding i found they gave me the lift i needed to keep going. i will definately stock up next time too.
