The Scarecrow Festival

With another day of beautiful weather we made the most of the sunshine and headed to a local festival. It's an annual event in a small, local village where the majority of the residents create their own scarecrows and display them. There are a selection of stalls, food and drinks, games and inflatables so it's a cheap day out for all the family.

Mr Tumble was there too...

  2. That looks like fun. My son would have been flippin terrified. People dressed up, and scarecrows seem to freak him out. He's usually quite fearless

  6. Scarecrows are such fun to make. We do them in our village for bonfire night, and always make a big one for the top of our bonfire. Love the look of the ones here, looks like lots of work has gone into them. Thank you for sharing.

  8. Did you post this last year? If not you, someone else must have done because I remember seeing similar photos before. Are you in Cheshire or somewhere?

They really are quite amazing, such thought gone into them.

    1. I've only been blogging since February and I've not posted about it before. This was Harpole, Northamptonshire but I imagine they do similar elsewhere. It's really lovely to see, lots of time and effort in each one :) x
