Fairy Tower - Dolls House Review

If your little princess loves everything fairies and pink this is the perfect present for them this Christmas! I am a big fan of wooden toys as they generally last forever so I was pleased to be offered the beautiful Le Toy Van Fairy Tower to review with the Mini Mes.

The pieces are really pretty and decorated nicely in various shades of pink and green. They have a lovely floral design too and are very strong. The overall structure is great quality and well painted, I really feel the appearance of the toy is stunning and that it makes a wonderful gift solution.

There is a balcony, stair cases and a collection of accessories included for fun, imaginative play and role play development. Your little one can enjoy playing with the spinning lily pad dance floor and flower, table and chairs and even the cupcakes and cups that are supplied with it for a tea party. The secret pull out beds are a fantastic feature, complete with bedding, as it's like a magical hideaway and great to pop the accessories in to store when it's not being used - I don't need to worry about pieces getting lost!

The Fairy Tower is very easy to assemble (even for a DIY novice like me) and the instructions provided have detailed images of how to place the parts together. You will need a screwdriver to hand but only briefly as there is very little work to do. I assembled it completely in around 15 minutes.

No dolls are included with the set which is a shame but you can pick them up on the website when ordering. The Mini Mes loved using their existing figures to play with it anyway and I was surprised to see that Jamster loved it just as much as Minxy.... although he liked to pretend it was a castle being attacked by monsters!

The set is suitable for children aged 3 and over and has already been played with on a regular basis. I think this is a great value product for £32.99, especially as it's quite large and robust.

To pick up your own Fairy Tower you can buy online here: http://www.dollshouses.co.uk/acatalog/Fairy-Tower.html
The fairies are available separately here: http://www.dollshouses.co.uk/acatalog/dolls-house-dolls.html

There is a lovely range of alterative dolls houses available too. I think the Three Wishes Castle is superb! http://www.dollshouses.co.uk/acatalog/dolls-houses.html

  1. I love it that the kids can built it on their own. And no dolls included - shame, but on the other hand it enables them to play even with monsters ;)
