    I love cuddles at bedtime - a lovely story, a cuddle and a kiss goodnight is always a positive end to the day - and then I go downstairs, collapse on the sofa and go...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

    My mum is unique and no-one can take that away from her. Mum is very strong minded and you can ask her for advice if you are in trouble and she will understand you. If you just need someone to turn to or to talk on the phone with, she will always be there for you. My mum is the most amazing person in the world and that is why she is special.

    My mum is amazing because..
    No matter how much work there is to do, she still finds the time to be a mum and play.
    No matter how hard her day has been, she still makes the tea and tends to us.
    No matter how much we annoy her or get under her skin sometimes...she always loves us dearly
    and most of all my mum is simply amazing because shes mine and no one else can have her :D

    the best thing about my mum is even though shes now 75 and living in spain she is still always there for me if i need her whatever is happening in her own life being a carer for my dad wears her out but still shes there for me and my children she is a very special lady :)

    My mum never gives me a hard time. She'll bring me a cup of tea and biscuits when I need cheering up. She'll call me for no reason. She'll watch a film that I like for a change. She doesn't criticise my music or clothes. She gives me a hug when I need it and when I'm stressed, she'll support me.

    Usually when one is angry and the other responds angrily the argument will just get out of hand. But I love how when my mum is angry and I get upset she would suddenly start laughing. She could be making me cry but her sudden outburst of laughter will confuse me and I will have to stop. As she continues to laugh she would end up hugging me and tells me she finds it funny how her anger can make me cry. But I'm so glad she does as I can't do anything other than hug her back and laugh as well. My mum is a little bit crazy but so am I and I love her for that.

    I like being the mum of a 22 year old, it's wonderful seeing my tiny girl now a gorgeous young woman. Amazing! This is the same little person that asked me one day, "Mummy, why is a bee?" She was furious when I thought she'd meant what is a bee, she wanted to know why.

    My favourite moment as a mum was one Christmas when I took my son to see Santa at the local play school party. He was the last child to receive his present but stood beside me patient and quiet just watching all the other children laughing and screaming with delight. Then his name was called but as he was a very shy child I had to go up with him to see santa, but he was so excited to get a little toy car.

    My mum is always there when i need her with no questions asked. She is disabled and lives a 3 hour drive away but when i was poorly she got straight in her car to be by my bedside and support me. she is fab!

    my fav mummy memory is jack my little boys attempt at art on my newly decorated wall! he was only about 18months old and said after id seen its a smiley face to make mummy smile - how can you be angry at that!

    my mum is just the best .. im almost 38, i have 3 children of my own (1 of which has left home) and my mum still rings me up to check ive picked my washing in when it gets cloudy :D dont know where i would be without her x

    She runs an orphanage for AIDs orphans in Africa, so I miss her loads but her work is immeasurable and her love for other younger children who have no-one :)

    every day is my new favourite memory as a mum. today he was a bit tired and upset but yesterday he climbed into my lap and kidded me tenderly on my cheek at a party. ooh there was one today. i stubbed my toe and then banged my elbow and he kissed them both better.
