Having a planner is a great way to remain organised, ensuring you don't forget that important trip, dinner date or parents evening! We all have enough on our plate with a house to maintain, kids to care for and work to do so having somewhere to jot things down is always useful.
We were sent a personal planner to review from Personal-Planner.co.uk and from adding personalised touches during ordering right through to it being delivered it was a very straight forward process!
With reviews opportunities, events and days out galore to sort out I decided to customise my planner for my blog. I opted for a large sized one (£21.95) so it had plenty of room to squish all of my random notes in and out of the many colours and patterns available I selected pink. I'm quite a girly girl at heart!
I was able to pick and choose from so many different options to personalise it including backgrounds, text, daily details and even the colour of the elastic! It was very easy to do as the website is so simple to navigate. You can add music sheets, colouring pages and even sudoku, which I selected, to the rear of the book and your own personal information at the front so it can be returned to you if misplaced - they really have thought of everything!
Delivery is only £2.95 and they ship worldwide. Although it was a little slow (11 days from ordering) the item is personalised so that is to be expected to a certain extent.
The planner has really helped keep my working life in order and I feel a lot less stressed knowing exactly what I need to do each day - there was always that dreaded feeling of forget beforehand!
Despite being large it fits into my handbag easily and goes everywhere I do now.
It is quite expensive for what it is but the quality is good.

ReplyDeleteChristmas eve - the children are really excited, the grandparents come over to visit and my hubbie always starts his hols on xmas eve so I know we have at least a full week together as a family ahead of us. I actually enjoy xmas eve with all the anticipation and little traditions (baking cookies, getting snuggled up xmas films and books, new xmas PJ's) more than xmas day when I'm cooking dinner and trying to stop the kids getting too hyped or having a meltdown.

ReplyDeleteI hate to be lame, but every day is important to me - we have special days, and fun days and bad days. Days we look forward too, and anniversaries we dread. Sometimes we don't have a day off, somedays go so fast you hardly can remember which day it is.
ReplyDeleteTime is precious, we live by diaries, week to week, day by day - even to the point where its not just the children who live to a timetable schedule at school, but to fit in our own study time at home, we have to allocate slots too.
Its all worth it though, we are a family that is always busy, and relish at the prospect of being organised. I do miss my lies ins though, a small sacrifice to make in the grand scheme of things. xx
My best day, aside all the obvious ones (Ie Christmas, for which I put the decorations up in November! lol) The best day for me was meting my soul mate Richy online on July 24th! I had been a single working mum to my two little boys since their birth, and even though I was happy with my lot, I never knew what I was missing until I met Rich. The craziest thing (to us!) is that we both spoke on the 24th on Myspace, and later found out we both have a tattoo of the number 24! Me on my shoulder, and him on his ankle as it was both our favourite number, so we firmly believe fate meant us to be together! Two little girls and a wedding 8 years later and I still get wobbly legs when he comes home from work. So we always celebrate that day! :-)

ReplyDeleteThere's 2 dates, Christmas as it brings the family together and we enjoy spending rare time as a complete family. But also 16th August, which is the anniversary to my mums death, we were so, so close and her death was way too soon. Its important to me to remember her more so that day than usual as it was the last time I saw her.
ReplyDeleteChristmas day
ReplyDeleteLooks a great idea.
