I received a lovely new camera for my birthday from the Mr, a Canon EOS 1100D (if that means anything to the photographers out there), and as I was keen to test it out pretty much straight away I headed to the nearest spot to explore. The garden!
It is a bit overgrown at the moment and certainly needs some TLC but that's on the agenda in the very near future. In the meantime however, I made the most of the pretty wild flowers and weeds in the sunshine...

and this little bundle of fluff decided to join me...
Considering I have never had a 'proper' camera before I don't think I did too badly!
Do you?

ReplyDeleteNot bad at all - very good in fact!
ReplyDeletePretty! I love the macro dandelion shot! =) #HDYGG
ReplyDeleteThey're lovely pictures, I love the detail on the pretty pink flower x #HDYGG
ReplyDeleteI use the same camera and love it. Beautiful photos. Be warned. You are about to lose large chunks of your life to manual focusing everything in macro mode. Not that it takes long, its just addictive. Don't say I didn't warm you. #HDYGG
ReplyDeleteSmashing! And lovely plants too - great to be outdoors taking photos isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in x
