When it comes to housework I like to cut time and costs as much as possible while doing my bit for the environment, so when I discovered Eco Egg I was pleasantly surprised. Not only has the fragrance free version been voted Gold for best Baby Skincare Product by Prima Baby & Pregnancy Magazine but it will save you money in the long run and it contains natural cleaning pellets which are tough on dirt. It's also great on delicate adult skin and is supported by the National Eczema Society PLUS it has the Allergy UK stamp. What isn't to love!
We opted for the Spring Blossom scent at £19.99, as I really love having fresh floral smelling clothes,
with enough pellets to wash 720 loads. If you work out how much 720 washes would cost you in detergent, that's around 3 years worth, then it is a considerable saving and definitely worth investing in; it works out at just 3p per wash with Eco Egg!
with enough pellets to wash 720 loads. If you work out how much 720 washes would cost you in detergent, that's around 3 years worth, then it is a considerable saving and definitely worth investing in; it works out at just 3p per wash with Eco Egg!
To begin you place a mixture of mineral and tourmaline pellets into the egg and twist it shut. You will never need to measure anything again! This then goes in with your dirty laundry and it will be activated by the water. It really is that simple. On the first use the clothes didn't come up as clean as I had hoped for but I discovered that was because I had crammed too many items into the washing machine so the egg was unable to move around. Every time since I've had no issues at all and I'm happy with using the product instead of my usual gels or tabs. I do from time to time add some fabric softener for an extra fresh smell though as the scent is mild.
- Safe for use with fabric softener
- Wash up to 60°C and is even better on cooler washes to save energy!
- No measuring, scooping or pouring!
- It works – proven by an independent laboratory
- Suitable for white and coloured clothes – no bleaches
- Safe for all fabrics – even delicates

ReplyDeleteIroning
ReplyDeleteCleaning the oven - therefore that is one of the two jobs that my husband does, lol, along with mopping the kitchen floor. Ironing also rates highly on my hated jobs list - I find myself buying clothes with a view to the fact that they won't need ironing. I've always been of the opinion that a few minor creases will soon drop out once they are worn anyway :D Gleam entries are in my real name NIKKI HAYES
