A sweet smelling home is far more inviting for your guests and with Airwick you can have just that. They have a lovely range of products that not only mask unwanted scents of food and pets but some of them can be used as finishing touches for rooms or even create a light and warming atmosphere in the evenings. We put a few or their items to the test...
These make quite nice ornaments for windows and cupboards as well as releasing aromas for several weeks via the natural rattan stems. They are really easy to set up; after removing from the packaging you simply take off the seal from the glass and spread out the sticks in the liquid. They come in two designs, the Signature Collection and also the Colours of Nature, so you can pick a style and scent to suit your taste. It was a little overpowering to begin but it soon became a really nice background scent. Others mentioned how pleasant the varying scents were when entering the kitchen and bathroom and it stopped me from worrying that the poochie was making the house whiffy!
I often have a candle lit during the evening when the lights are off and the scent of the Essential Pearls Amber Mandarin Glow is lovely. It is a warm shade of orange too which is very seasonal.
Unlike most candles this has an essential oils core which is surrounded by a fragranced gel. When each pearl melts it gives an added boost of aroma to your home and an extra dimension.
A great value buy. I'd like to try the Midnight Berry & Shimmering Mist version next.
Air Freshener and Freshmatic Compact
If you are cooking something a bit stinky you can easily eliminate the smell with a quick spray of freshener around the home. It's a really convenient product to have, particularly in the bathroom too in 240ml and 500ml aerosols. It comes in a variety of scents including Pink Sweet Pea, Purple Lavender Meadow, Ivory Freesia Bloom, Blue Ocean Coral and Crisp Linen & Lilac.
The freshmatic can be set to release mist automatically at intervals to suit and it allows bursts of fragrance to keep your home smelling lovely for weeks at a time. They come in natural, black and white effect to match your decor nicely and you can easily pick up refills at your local supermarket for either the compact or max sized products.
