Disney Tsum Tsum Toy Shop Playset and Figures

The latest craze from Disney is Tsum Tsum - cute plushies of your favourite film characters to play with at home! The name comes from the Japanese word 'Tsumu' which means 'to stack' and that's exactly what you can do with these adorable soft toys.

There is now also a Squishies range which features playsets and miniature figures to add to your collection, some of which are exclusive to a specific store, and we received a few to put to the test!

Tsum Tsum Squishy Figure Toy Shop Playset

This set doubles up as a display case as there are two removable units which can fit twenty figures on between them and there is also a pod to show off your favourite! Included are two exclusive figures, Alice in Wonderland and Mickey Mouse, and the set has various little elements to explore with them.

There is a stacking stage where you can pile your Tsum Tsum figures into a pyramid before pressing the pink Minnie Mouse button to pop them up and make them tumble. There is also a bouncing platform with a transparent tube surround where you can make a figure 'fly' by pressing a different button. Furthermore, there are movable Mickey and Minnie faces on the structure which can be pushed from side to side and a unit that rotates. These simple activities are ideal for pre-schoolers although older children will love them too!

This is quite a low cost set at £25, especially in comparison to others of a similar size for children, although it is currently on offer at £20 which is even better value for money. It seems to be good quality generally but we did find that the platform came out of place from the base when the button to bounce was pressed more vigorously.

Squishy Figure 5 Pack with Bag Clip

There are over 50 figures to collect in Series 1 and this pack contains a selection of 5; 4 of which are available to view through the packaging with a 5th hidden away! This is a great idea as it provides a surprise for your child, similar to a blind bag, when unboxed.

The bag clip is easy to attach to belt loops on trousers or luggage and you can store several figures inside to take them with you while on the move. We received Tigger, Perry, Sebastian, Hamm and Dale so there was a super mixture of classic and more modern characters.

These would normally cost £10 but they are also on offer currently at just £8 which makes them a nice idea for birthday presents or Christmas gifts. Even though Minxy is 11 she thinks these are adorable and she would love some more!

Disney Tsum Tsum Squishy Figure 2 Pack

Perfect as a pocket money purchase, these figure packs contain one mystery figure and another which is viewable. At just £3 they are a lovely treat for good behaviour, being fearless at the dentist or just because! These would make a nice stocking filler or party bag item too.

We received Roo from Winnie the Pooh (my fav) and Olaf from Frozen.

Overall I'm very impressed with the Tsum Tsum products from The Entertainer. They are affordable, attractive, highly collectible and there is good variety with the figures available so they are therefore very appealing to children.

I had expected the figures to be really squidgy, but being more firm in texture makes them robust which is actually beneficial being aimed at little ones aged 3+.

Although the figures are small in size they aren't too tiny so I don't feel they will be misplaced easily, in fact they will probably be so loved that they will be treasured. The Mini Mes certainly look after these to the extent they take them everywhere!

Have your children got any Tsum Tsum products yet?
