The Mini Mes' Favourite Christmas Gifts - Minxy

Minxy's presents were mostly pink and purple this year as my little tom boy is fast becoming a feminine tween that loves fashion and beauty.

She had a huge haul of goodies but these are her top 5 gifts this Christmas...

Doh Vinci Jewellery Tree and Flower Frame Kits

Minxy loves being creative so these are ideal for her. She first discovered this range last year and she has loved collecting the various sets ever since. We picked these two up from House of Fraser and at £15 or under they are reasonably low cost to purchase - they make great gift ideas for her friend's birthdays too.

Snowycone Maker

I always wanted a Mr Frosty and was disappointed year after year not receiving one so when Minxy added this to her wish list I knew it was a must have! You tip ice into the bowl and it churns it down and ejects it into the cones. You then pour on your flavouring for a homemade slushy. Delicious and really easy to do.

HP Stream Laptop

I borrowed Minxy's laptop about a year ago when mine decided to stop working and she hasn't really had it back, so I thought a new one would be the perfect gift. The way her eyes lit up was a sign that it certainly was. Pretty in pink it will be really useful for her homework now she's at secondary school although she has taken an interest in Texas Hold'em Poker!

Unicorn Stompeez

Minxy is really getting into fashion now that she is nearly 12, but she still adores cute and novelty items like these slippers. They come in a variety of styles but she quite likes mystical creatures so these were the ones I knew she would appreciate most. As she walks along the head flips up and down as there is a pump in the sole. Such a unique idea.

Soap and Glory Belle of the Ball

As she's always borrowing my bath goodies I thought this set would be lovely for Minxy. I've never seen her so keen to have a shower! It's a beautifully presented set and the tin could be reused with ease for her hair bobbles or mini body sprays which she seems to have an endless supply of. It contains body wash, body scrub, body smoother, hand cream and a body polisher in a really nice scent.
