Hot Wheels Total Turbo Takeover

With over 10 feet of track and a die cast vehicle included, it's no wonder Jamster was pleased to see one of the latest Hot Wheels sets from Mattel arrive at the door. He has been a big fan of this range for years and has enjoyed reviewing the Triple Track Twister and 5-Lane Tower Starter Set previously while expanding his collection in the past.

Priced at around £39.99 and suitable for children age 3+, the Total Turbo Takeover is quite impressive and it spreads across the floor to play. Assembly took just 10 minutes due to the easy to follow instructions supplied and it it is great to know that there are enough pieces to build your own unique designs AND you can connect it to your existing sets.

Furbys, iPads and Pooh - Family Funny

Jamster is at the age where anything even slightly disgusting makes his eyes light up and sets him off in fits of laughter. He will pop up from anywhere at anytime shouting "pull my finger" but thankfully I've fallen for that once before to know I should avoid doing so again!

He is obsessed with Horrid Henry and his gruesome tales and he likes to play practical jokes on his big sister, as little brothers do. He loves slime, Toxic magazine and generally just being a little crude but we certainly love him for it and it definitely makes us all laugh too at times.

He has been connecting his Furby to the iPad since he got it at Christmas and apart from feeding it and playing games with it, he has recently discovered that he can make it *ahem* visit the toilet.
He burst into my bedroom to share this revelation while I was putting some washing away...

The Boys

Being a single mum entering the dating world again can be very daunting. At the same time as wanting to find the love of your life you need to make sure that they get on with your children as they will always come first - this was the scenario for my a few years ago.
I met the Mr through a mutual friend and after a few weeks together, knowing that things were going really well and already knowing that I wanted to spend forever with him, I introduced him to the Mini Mes. The Mr is very funny, entertaining and playful so being just 2 and 4 at the time the Mini Mes adapted to him really well and built close bonds with him quickly. It all seemed very natural and comfortable.

There have been a few times when they have called him dad in error which were a bit awkward for me not knowing how he would feel about that but the Mr is a great role model and treats them as if they were his anyway and had no objections.

We have been together 4 years this March.

People also think that Jamster is the Mr's anyway as they do look quite alike!
This is from a friends wedding and I love how smart and happy they both look together.
