Meet my mum and my Gran. And yes, that is me in the background looking like a Wotsit after just returning from Ibiza last May. A little tipsy too I'll add as we were celebrating my mums 50th birthday.
This is three generations of my family. You can see the similarities but also the differences too like the skin texture and colouring depending upon our various ages.
My Gran is my last remaining grandparent and considering she is almost 80, which is quite old in my eyes, I don't feel that she looks it just yet. I hope I grow old gracefully.
The Gallery Theme this week is Old
There is surely an effort in growing old gracefully, the photo bombing effect you have achieved implies you haven't started yet...I don't see this as a bad thing lol
ReplyDeleteI always photo bomb and pull random faces haha! x
DeleteLovely to see three generations in one photo, thank you x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture! X
ReplyDeleteAh what a lovely photo - your mum looks really young too - I think you have some good aging genes in your family.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, your Nan doesnt look 80! Fab! x
ReplyDeleteYou have great genes there. Neither of your elders look their age. I hope you are using your writing skills to capture their multi-generational stories and memories! Treasure them whilst they're still around you, and ask them lots of questions they won't want to answer about when they were younger - I wish I'd done that with my mum and nans. It was the very reason I created SaveEveryStep.com
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture!
ReplyDeleteHerding Cats

ReplyDeleteWhat a fab, happy picture! And how great for you to still have your gran. I try and take pics now of my mum, me and my daughter as I don't have any of these 3 generation pics with my grandparents.
